They’re called Lacefront wigs. They’re especially designed to be pulled back and still look natural on a person because of the way they were designed. My Alice wig was a lacefront and my wife’s Draco wig was a lace front. Tema’s Legolas/elf wig was also a lace front :D!
Well, it’s that time of year again and everyone in my house is finishing up their projects in order to be fully ready for the convention :3! For the first time in a while I’m throwing out my line up so you guys can say hi if you want. No more having to guess! Assuming.. you read this first lol.
Friday - Marauders - James Potter
Lol so this is Tema’s pet project. Harry Potter is probably her all time favorite series and she asked the group if they would please please do Marauders this year. Naturally we all said sure because it’ll be amusing. After all… I just… don’t wear contacts. Awesome.
Saturday - Tiger and Bunny
At last! A group! Naru and I have been doing different versions of Tiger and Bunny for a while now but we haven’t had a full-ish group for it yet. Except maybe our swimsuit versions which… lol. Anyway! After much pleading with people, they agreed to do a group with me. I’m just so sad the meet up is on Sunday D:!
Sunday - My Little Pony - Rarity

Dani came to us one day and was all “Wanna do MLP with me?” and it took us a bit of watching the show before we were all “Sure!”. I can’t even go into the absurd amount of time and effort that has been/will be put into these costumes. I really mean absurd considering the show itself. The group is crazy big as we have the whole main cast and then some so… look for a lot of bright colors. You really would be hard pressed to miss us.
Monday - Supernatural - Femme!Castiel (Castielle)
So excited I could explode. This wasn’t my group or plan but as soon as I heard my friends were doing it, I jumped on board asap. We have so many cast members that half of us decided to do Genderbender versions with our counterparts :3! My outfit was entirely inspired by the beautiful work of LaLaLettie of Cafe De Labeill with her permission and I’m honored to pay homage to her fantastic work.

We were thinking about going to AM2 but the person we were supposed to depend on may not go so… that would be us dropping out. We’re going to AX then Yaoi con :3! Also, We’re coming in to Fanime on Thursday but we’re not staying at the con hotel until Friday ^^;;
